Last meeting for 2011

今日は参加できるメンバーだけで反省会がありました。

来年になっちゃうと、話しておきたいことも忘れてしまうので

今日話ができてよかったです♪

今年で2年目のひなたカフェはまだまだ課題があり

来年に向けてどのように改善できるか

皆で色々と意見を出し合いました。

1年目では気付かなかった事も沢山あり、

こうやって少しずつ形が整っていくのだな、と実感できた話し合いでした。

ランチは何故か肉料理が多く、

皆疲労が溜まってて肉を欲してるのね、と大笑いでした。笑

でも、ちゃんとデザートとご飯が揃っていて、

言い合わせたかのごとく、良いバランスのランチでした♪

次に皆で集まれるのは、来年の2月です！

それまでちょっと長いお休みで少し寂しいですが

また来年、新しい気持ちでひなたカフェを盛り上げていきたいです♪

去年、今年とひなたカフェ（旧ウララカフェ)を見つけて

応援してくださった皆様。

メリークリスマス！

そして、よいお年をお過ごしください！

また来年もどうぞ宜しくお願い致します♪（⌒▽⌒）

We have had our last meeting of the year today with members who could join in.

We could have waited until next year, but

if we postpone it until next year, our memory won't be that fresh

and won't get a good feedback.

After all, we aren't that young. ( ^ ^ )

This was our 2nd year and we still have lots to improve.

The event had been better than the first year's, but there were things

that we didn't notice last year but needed more attention.

I felt that this group feedback on those things is a very valuable asset for us

to build up the Hinata Cafe to a much concrete form.

After a long discussion, we opened each dishes on the table,

and to our surprise, most dishes were meat!

We were all so tired that we may have had cravings for meat. ( ^ ^ )

Although we had lots of meat on the table, we had a good variations of rice, veges, and sweets!

Our next meeting will be in February next year, so we'll be having a long holiday until then.

For those of you who found us from last year and this year,

have a merry Christmas! and a happy new year!!

We hope to see you next year as well!

Charity Festival at Japanese school in Perth 2011

Hinata cafe team attanded  Charity Festival at Japanese school in Perth yesterday.

昨日（２７日）は日本人学校で開催された、チャリティー祭にひなたカフェ参加してきました。先週のイベントをミニ化した様な感じで、本当にたくさんの人出で賑わいました。

おいしい日本食、特にひなた特製お団子やお漬物と一緒に楽しいひとときをお過ごしいただけましたでしょうか。

Keyaki was here too!! A great helper to Hinata!

Mr.ケヤキここにもいました！一日中本当にがんばってくれました。助かったよ！

Believe or not, this is at front of our Hinata booth. There was long queue all the time like this!

これ、ひなたブースの前です。ありがたいことに、この行列がとぎれることはほとんどありませんでした！

A lot of Sachiyo's friends and customers visited her, and enjoyed shopping as well as chatting with her too:) Her beeds rabbit motif was populer. A little girl was looking for a present for her mother. It was so cute and we were moved by that.

さちよさんも参加。彼女のたくさんのお友達とお客様がひっきりなしに彼女のブースを訪れていました。楽しいおしゃべりにも花が咲いていました♪ビーズでつくられたウサギのモチーフが大人気♪小さなお子様が、「お母さんにプレゼントを」とお買い物する姿に感動しました。

 My booth (Handmade By Riin), strong sea breeze kept blowing off my stuffs, even this little shelf fell on my nose too... I had a great time anyway!

私のブース（Handmade By Riin)です。とにかく楽しい一日を過ごすことができました。シティービーチ特有の海風が強くで、商品が飛ぶ飛ぶ。この棚まで何度も落ちてきました・・・

カフェチームです。大忙しの最中でもこの笑顔です。楽しかったですもんね♪

He is becoming almost professional to make dango. It is not an easy job to do!

お団子作り、特に串刺し名人になりつつあるケヤキ君。くっついてなかなか難しい仕事を難なくこなしてくれます。

freshly made green tea from the green tea ceremony.

Hinata Gallery Cafe event!

The event we had last weekend was picked up by the Fremantle Herald as well!

先週末のイベント、フリーマントルのローカル新聞にも載りました～！

This is where we had our craft stalls.

Collected money will go to the red cross Japan.

入ってすぐの所には、ゲストブックが置いてあり、

今後は記入された方にひなたのニュース等を配信していこうと思います♪

今回はくじ引きもありました♪　集まったお金は

すべて日本赤十字に寄付されます。

The first stall at the right side of the room was Temari Addict Australia.

She had made all these by her hand!!!

They were all breath taking.

まず、右側の最初のストールがTemari Addict Australiaさん。

この手毬、すべて手作り！！！

あまりにも繊細で綺麗なので、見とれてしまいます。

Next was Naoko, who creates beautiful cards.

There were Japanese style ones as well as Christmassy ones!

隣が手作りカードのナオコさん。

日本風なカードや、クリスマスカード等、

オリジナルなカードがたくさん♪

The next stall was Hand made by Riin who creates cute kids clothes!

They range from leg warmer, pants, cushion, sty, hat, toys, etc.

次がHand made by Riin さんで、

可愛い子供服やアクセサリーがたくさん♪

クッション、スタイ、レッグウォーマー、パンツ、おもちゃ等、

バラエティー豊かで購買欲をくすぐります！

The next stall was mine. ^^

I had some lady clothes and room shoes this time!

隣が私でした。＾＾

今回はお洋服やスリッパも展示しました！

The next stall was Naoko Yamada who always creates most original artwork!

She had screen printed T-shirts this time and I got two of them.

One was printed twice only and she can't print the same one again

as the screen had been washed off!

その隣が、いつも素敵な芸術を生み出すNaoko Yamada　さん。

今年も素晴らしいアートを生み出しました！

そして、今回はTシャツにスクリーンプリントした物まで！

私は早速2枚買いました♪

1枚のプリントは、スクリーンを洗い落としたため

もう2度とプリント出来ない柄で、なんと、2枚しかなかった。＾＾；

The next stall was Calicot, who creates beautiful good quality clothes and accessories!

I loved her linen clothes and wrap skirs, her original bags were gorgeous too!

Her colourful silk flowers were eye catching!

その隣はCalicot さんで、いつもながらに素敵な作品が沢山でした！

上質なリネンの服やバッグ等、やっぱり人気です！

今回は色とりどりなシルクのお花コサージュが目を引きましたね。

The next stall was Yoshiko, who creates textile from unique yarns by the

original weaving style called Saori.

Calicot had made bags and wrap skirts using her woven textile!

There are unique variation of colours in her textile!

その隣は　Yoshiko さんで、日本からサオリ織りを勉強してこられました。

サオリ独特な素材感がとても素敵で、Calicot　さんがバッグやスカートに使用していたのも

とっても素敵でした！

She had brought her own loom for guests to try weaving.

ご自分の織り機を持参してくださり

お客様に手織りの体験を楽しんでもらいました。

The next stall is the central ones, and we start from the front one

by Japanese Gifts.

she had made beautiful appliqued T-shirts, pouches, and bags!

There were unique clothes made by Japanese fabrics as well!

次は中央のストールの一番前からで、Japanese Gifts さん。

可愛いアップリケのTシャツや和柄のポーチやバッグが目を引きます！

他にも素敵な和柄生地で作られた洋服もありました！

The next stall was Sachiyo, who creates beautiful jewelry from beads,

stones, and Japanese glass beads called Tonbo-dama.

She also makes beautifully scented soaps, and I use them everyday!

隣が　Sachiyo さんで、綺麗なビーヅやストーン、日本のとんぼ玉等を使い

オリジナルなアクセサリーがたくさんありました！

また、香りが素敵なお肌に優しい手作り石鹸はやっぱり人気で

私も毎日愛用しています♪

The stall behind Sachiyo was Lilipop, who creates such a cute kids clothes!

If I had a daughter, I would love her to wear these!

she had cute accessories as well!

Sachiyo さんの後ろが　Lilipop さんで、とても可愛い子供服がありました！

女のコの子供がいたら、絶対着させたいドレスがたくさん！

他にも可愛いアクセサリーがありましたよ！

The next stall was Zelkova, who creates gorgeous jewelry using beads and stones.

She had made Christmassy accessories as well!

She had used one of Calicot's silk flower as part of the necklace!

その隣は　Zelkova さんで、素敵なビーズやストーンのアクセサリーが

並んでいます。　クリスマス風なアクセサリーも素敵でした！

Calicot　さんのコサージュを付けたネックレスも素敵でした！

Zelkova's daughter had also made these beautiful felt sweets!!

They look so real, and I found people staring at them for a long time!

She is very talented!!

Zelkova さんの娘さんはカフェを手伝ってくださってたのですが、

その子はフェルトのお菓子を手作りしていました！

全部本物ソックリ！！　本当に上手です！

お客さんが前で固まって、ジ～っと眺めていました。笑

At the front of the premise is our Cafe, serving the real food to fill empty stomach!

There were mouth watering Japanese sweets which are hard to get in Australia,

and there was a lunch menu with variety of healthy dishes on one plate.

There were hand made sweets by young ladies helping the cafe as well!

All foods were brought to customers by a bright, happy face staff!

さて、会場の入口には、本物の食べ物が食べられるカフェがありました。

よだれが止まらなくなるような、こっちでは中々食べられない和菓子、

バラエティーが豊かで体にもうれしい、ヘルシーなランチ、

ヘルプの娘さんたちが手作りしたお菓子等

心にも体にもおいしい食べ物を、明るいスタッフがサーブします♪

カフェの顔、Tomoe さんは、クラフトの作品を数点、

素敵に身に付けて下さいました♪

This cute waiter had an apron with Naoko Yamada's screen print!

カフェでウェイターをしてくれた可愛いボクは

Naoko Yamada がプリントしたエプロンをかっこよく身に付けてました！

I managed to take one picture from the green tea ceremony on Sunday

but it was when the ceremony had ended...

せっかくのお茶会の様子を、私は日曜日にしか撮れなく、

しかも終わった時の物しか取れませんでした・・・。

Riin had taken more pictures from the event, so we may upload them later on.
