Update on the Hinata cafe event

We have had our June meeting on Sunday.
The preparation for the September event has began, with new members in the Cafe team.
With the new member's new ideas the menu of this year will be quite different from the last year's.
The workshops will include, music, felt, natural dye, and calligraphy.
Stalls will include te-mari, macrobiotic hand baked bread, handmade cards, and Japanese doll.
Hinata cafe members will be displaying new craft works in one booth,
and children's clothes by Riin which was very popular last year will have one booth too!
More details will come after we get the flyer out!

日曜日にミーティングを行いました。
9月に控えているイベントに向けて、色々と決まってきております。
カフェは、トモエさんを中心に、今年は新しいメンバーを引き入れ
去年とはまた少し違うメニューとなってきております。
ワークショップは、音楽、フェルト、草木染め、書道となっており、
ショップのみで、手毬、天然酵母のおやき、手作りカード、和人形等を予定。
ひなたカフェメンバーのコーナーにも、メンバーの新作が揃います。
去年人気だったRiinさんの子供服も、１ブースとしてオープンします♪
詳しい内容は、またフライヤーが出来上がってからご報告します♪

Details of Hinata Cafe event this year!

Thank you very much for all people who had responded to our call for stalls!
We have now closed the entry, and we now have more details about the event in September.

応募してくださった皆様、ありがとうございました！
募集は締切となり、9月の予定がだいたい決まってまいりましたのでご報告致します。

The Hinata Cafe will be having an event in Perth Waldorf School in Bibra Lake on 8th September 2012 (Sat), 10am - 4pm.
It is located next to the Retro Function Centre which we had our last two events.

ひなたカフェのイベントは、今年は9月8日（土曜日)、10時から4時までで、
場所は前２回イベントを行なったレトロ・ファンクション・センターの隣の
パース・ウォードルフ・スクール（シュタイナー)になります。

The event will be held in conjunction with the Gaia Symphony, who will be showing a documentary film from 4:30pm.

今回のイベントは、ガイア・シンフォニーさんと合同で行い、ガイア・シンフォニーさんの
ドキュメンタリーを４時３０分から上映いたします。

This year's event involves new people who will be giving out workshops as well as selling their hand made items.
Details of who will be having a stall will be announced after the next meeting.

今年の参加者はこちらのブログで応募して下さった方や、パースで手作りをされる方等で
手作り作品の販売や実演販売等、ワークショップを行います。
詳細は次のミーティング後にご報告致します。

The member of Hinata cafe will be serving menus of Japanese home cooking and delicious Japanese sweets.

ひなたメンバーは、懐かしの日本食や和菓子をご提供致します♪

There will be a stall with our craft members' hand made items as well!

クラフトメンバーの作品も、１角に展示販売する予定です。

Workshop and cafe will be closed at 4pm,
and Sanshi will be having a 30min concert for us.
Then from 4:30pm, gaia symphony will be showing a documentary film inside the hall.
It is scheduled to show VII, but it may be subject to change.

ワークショップとカフェは４時に閉店し、その後さんしさんによる３０分のコンサートがあり、
４時半からガイア・シンフォニーが上映されます。
７章を予定しておりますが、当日変更される可能性もあります。

The film is 2hour and 5 min long, and after the film Hinata cafe will re-open to serve tea, and we hope we can have concert by Sanshi again, but we haven't confirmed it yet with him.

映画は２時間５分で、その後ひなたカフェをもう１度開き、お茶を提供させていただきます。
もしかしたらさんしさんのコンサートをもう一度楽しめるかもしれません♪

Looking for the venue

Hinata Cafe members had joined at the City Farm yesterday morning.

It was a beautiful day and the place was filled with people shopping for the organic veges and fruits.

There was an organic cafe, and coffee smelled divine.

The reason why we went there was to see it's exhibition space and the kitchen facility for the Hinata Cafe.

The kitchen was beautiful and the exhibition space ideal.

The location is great too with lots of parking space, and the train station right behind it.

昨日は　City　Farm　にてひなたのメンバーが集まりました。

とっても良いお天気で、結構な人が有機野菜や果物を買いに来ていました。

そこのオーガニックカフェからもコーヒーの良い匂いがしていました。

この場所に集まった理由は、今年のひなたカフェ会場を下見する事。

クラフト用の展示スペースは結構良い広さで、

またキッチンもとっても綺麗で設備がちゃんと整っていました。

場所もシティーから近く、駐車場もタップリとあり、

すぐ後ろに電車の駅があるので、中々便利です♪

March 2012 Meeting

昨日は今年最初のミーティングがありました♪

うっかり写真を撮るのを忘れてしまいましたが

参加できるメンバーが集まり、今年のイベントについて話し合いました。

今年は、絶対に参加出来るメンバーが激減したため、

その分、ストールやワークショップで当日参加してくれそうな方々を募集しようと思います。

マッサージやマクロビオティック等

ヘルス面でのワークショップができる、という方、

折り紙や習字等、日本文化のワークショップができる、という方、

当日だけストール参加で自分の作品を販売したい、という方、

宜しければ senhouse@mail.goo.ne.jp にメールでご連絡下さい。

日程は今のところ９月１５日の1日のみとしております。

場所は、なるべく人の集まる、新しい場所を今検討中です。

参加の料金もまだ未定となっています。

興味がある方は5月1日までにご連絡をお願いします♪

We have had the first meeting of the year yesterday with the available members.

Due to changes in some member's circumstances, there are very small number of members who can join the event this year.

Therefore, we are thinking of inviting stall holders who wish to sell their handmade items at the event, and also people who wish to have a workshop at the event.

The workshop can be of massage, macrobiotics food, Origami, Calligraphy, etc.

The date of the event is scheduled at 15th September for now.

We are still looking for the venue, and have not yet decided on the price of each stall.

Remembering Fukushima Event Report

It was a great sunny day, with the temperature of 41 yesterday!

Those people who had came out into the heat to join the event had found a little shade they could and supported the musicians and speakers.

昨日は良いお天気で、なんと最高気温、41度でした！！

暑い中出演者さん達を見守ってくださった方たちは、見当たる日陰を見つけ涼んでいました。

Our little tent of Hinata Cafe was right next to the wetland stage.

It looks as if it's floating on the water.

It was shady almost all day, so we were able to serve people with a cold buckwheat noodle and chilled blend tea!

ひなたカフェは、池のステージのすぐ横にあり、池に浮かんでいるかのようでした。

ほとんど日陰だったおかげで、お客様には冷たいお蕎麦とキンキンに冷えたブレンドティーを提供する事ができました♪

Tomoe had brought everything for the stall, except for the tent shade,

so we used her big furoshiki as a shade.

It looked quite cute! ; )

ストール用の用具は全てトモエさんが持ってきてくださったのですが、

テントだけ忘れてしまい、持っていたパッチの大風呂敷を代用。笑

これが意外と可愛くてよかったです♪

In total we have earned $360.40, and it will go to the people of Fukushima who are still in need.

For those of you who had come, thank you very much for the support,

and thank you very much for the musicians, dancer, and speaker of the event for the wonderful day!

こちらはトモエさんが仕事の合間をぬって書いてくださった看板です♪

この日は全額＄360.40の売上があり、全て福島の人達に寄付させていただきます。

応援に来てくださった皆様、本当にありがとうございました！！

本当におつかれさまでした！

One of the speaker who is from Fukushima had given a speech for us, and she gave us a name of the group who are working to help kids in Fukushima to cope with the disaster.
